We are a minority and woman-led educational organization, designed to assist youth aging out of the foster system based in Oxnard, California.We are dedicated to providing job training, educational guidance, mentorship, financial literacy, saving and budgeting skills, leadership development, and a variety of workshops and seminars.
Our Mission
At Walker Academy, our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-25 through personalized tutoring, workshops, and seminars. We provide individual educational plans tailored to your goals and aspirations, along with a focus on inclusive and empowering educational environments.
Programs Offered
Our programs include job assistance and training, college preparation programs, and financial assistance options based on qualification. We offer a transition to permanent housing with job placement and encourage workshops, skill evaluations, and educational enrollment.
