Walker Academy is a proud minority-led and woman-led Transitional Housing Program based in Oxnard, California. We believe that knowledge is a tool for empowerment and community development. Our mission is to provide inclusive, opportunities that cater to foster youth who have aged out of the Foster System. We are committed to having an environment where every Youth feels valued and supported. Our team is composed of passionate Service Providers who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our program. At Walker Academy, we not only focus on academic progression but also on building confidence, critical thinking, and practical skills, that our Youth can carry into their futures.
